Between May and August is usually when movie studios release their biggest and most anticipated movies \u2013 and we can\u2019t wait to watch them all! Who needs the sun? We would much rather be sat in a cool dark cinema watching the latest big blockbuster.<\/p>\n<p>Whether it\u2019s sci-fi, drama, romance, horror or even Disney that you enjoy, there is always something for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve narrowed down the movies that we are most excited and curious about this summer, so read on to find out all about them!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mad Max: Fury Road (14<sup>th<\/sup> May) <\/strong><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/woHTUsl66BY\" width=\"640\" height=\"390\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Mad Max: Fury Road<\/em> is the fourth film in the Mad Max franchise, and the first one released in 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>English actor Tom Hardy takes over the title role of \u2018Mad\u2019 Max Rockatansky, making this the first movie in the series that Mel Gibson hasn\u2019t starred in.<\/p>\n<p>The movie takes place in a desert landscape, where people are being held captive. It has been several years since a series of catastrophic calamities took place around the world and left humanity in ruins.<\/p>\n<p>Charlize Theron plays one of the Five Wives \u2013 female captives of a tyrannical man. They must lean on Max to help them escape the desert and avoid its dangers.<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t think it matters if you haven\u2019t seen the first three \u2013 give it a watch!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jurassic World (June 12<sup>th<\/sup>) <\/strong><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RFinNxS5KN4\" width=\"640\" height=\"390\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Jurassic World<\/em> is the fourth instalment in the <em>Jurassic Park<\/em> film franchise. It\u2019s the first film to be released in over 14 years \u2013 the last one was back in 2001 (yeah we didn\u2019t think they would ever release another one either)!<\/p>\n<p>The movie takes place in a dinosaur theme park that is situated near Costa Rica, where behavioural research is being undertaken on a group of Velociraptors.<\/p>\n<p>Christ Pratt leads the film \u2013 so it\u2019s got to be worth watching, right?<\/p>\n<p>We figure this one is a real must watch if you are a fan of the previous films! We know we are pretty excited.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ant-Man (July 17<sup>th<\/sup>)<\/strong><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g0fSEa5o68Q\" width=\"640\" height=\"390\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We admit that we were always going to be excited about this movie \u2013 it\u2019s Marvel, after all! However, it does look very promising.<\/p>\n<p>In Marvel\u2019s second big blockbuster of the year (the first being <em>Avengers: Age of Ultron<\/em>\u2026 go watch it if you haven\u2019t already!), we are introduced to comedic Paul Rudd as con-man Scott Lang; an individual who develops the ability to shrink in size but increase in strength.<\/p>\n<p>He must put his petty criminal past behind him and learn to embrace his inner hero \u2013 and all to save the world!<\/p>\n<p>Other notable cast members include Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly (Kate from Lost!).<\/p>\n<p>July can\u2019t come quick enough!<\/p>\n<p>We hope you\u2019re as excited as we are for the release of all these movies this summer.
